The Northern Rail Trail
Bicycle, walk, run and horseback ride in warmer months
Snowmobile, cross country ski, snow shoe or even dog sled in the winter

The Northern Rail Trail, a 56 mile long, 13 feet wide, all season recreation trail that runs along lakes, crystal clear streams, classic covered bridges and quaint New England villages. In the warmer months, the trail is used for bicycling, running, walking, horseback riding and nature watching. In the winter, the trail is popular for cross-country skiing, snowshoing, snowmobiling and even dog sledding.

Mountain biking for all levels of expertise at Highland Mtn. Bike Park. Explore the Sunapee Ragged Kearsage Greenway with miles of trails. Take a guided tour to see moose and other wildlife. Sportsman can hunt and fish in season & with proper licensing.
